Have a look at the shapes of each of these volcanoes- How are they different and why do you think they are like that?
Activity 2- Labelling a volcano
Make sure you understand the meaning of these volcano words: volcano, eruption, extinct, dormant, active, cone, vent, crater, magma, lava, layer, eruption plume
Use them to label the volcano (CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE IT ON JAMBOARD) otherwise draw your own volcano and label these parts ERUPTION CLOUD, LAVA, LAYERS OF ASH AND LAVA, MAGMA CHAMBER, VENT, CONDUIT
