Activity: What is the difference between an Active Volcanoes, Dormant Volcanoes and Extinct Volcanoes?

1. Boil an egg and explain how it represents the earth…. you could draw land and water on your egg to make it look like the earth. You can cut the egg in half with a sharp knife. Some shattering of the shell is inevitable but don’t peel the egg. This reminds us of the earth…Why is that?
